Position: Instructor – Culinary (Instructor II)
About: Culinary Instructors with Parks Tacoma have the opportunity to teach cooking skills to members of the community at community centers and the Mobile Teaching Kitchen, offering classes ranging from regional dishes to family and kids classes. Instructors will teach groups of up to 10 students, prepare the kitchen, teach classes, and clean up, with additional duties like teaching summer camps and cooking for events at Parks Tacoma. Travel to various locations is required to teach at community centers and the Mobile Teaching Kitchen.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in culinary instruction preferred; ability to teach and communicate effectively; capable of creating lesson plans and managing a classroom environment; willingness to travel to different locations for teaching assignments
