Position: Full-Time Exempt Sous Chef
About: Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is currently hiring a Full Time, Exempt Sous Chef. Our Sous Chef is responsible for preparing food in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to ensure that quality food service is provided at all times. They will provide positive leadership to the culinary team and execute the duties of the Chef de Cuisine/Food Production Manager in their absence.
Requirements: At least two (2) years Sous Chef Experience in a similar size facility, resort, or hotel; Graduate of a Culinary Arts school or extensive prior experience in similar food preparation positions preferred; Must be at least 18 years of age; Must have knowledge of special diets and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations regarding food preparation; Must be able to maintain positive relationships and interactions with residents and staff.
