Position: Chef de Cuisine (“Chef de Cocina”)
About: The hotel is seeking to hire an Executive Chef responsible for directing food preparation, production, menu development/execution, and control for all food outlets and banquet facilities at the hotel. The Executive Chef will maintain food and labor costs, enforce high culinary standards, and lead the culinary and stewarding teams in creating and implementing new menus and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Requirements: High school or equivalent education required; minimum of two years of culinary schooling preferred; five years of prior experience as Executive Chef with extensive knowledge of international and domestic dishes and wine pairing; certification as Executive Chef or Certified Master Chef by a government-accredited culinary agency; Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required; ability to provide and maintain a valid driver’s license; CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred
