Position: Bar Metier Host
About: Bar Métier is a French-style bar in the former law library of the old City Hall Annex, mixing up creative cocktails accompanied by small plates. This voluptuous Warehouse District cocktail lounge is discreetly located next to the Maison Métier hotel, but the over-the-top interior — tiger-skin-patterned carpets and bar stools, red lacquered walls inset with well-stocked bookshelves, a tangerine-hued ceiling — is joyously bold. The cocktails are stellar, the bar food runs from deviled eggs to caviar, and guests at the hotel have access to a semi-secret private room. All that’s missing is you!
Requirements: Ability to satisfactorily communicate in verbal and written English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding; Prioritize and organize work assignments, have timely follow up and execution; Have superb time management skills; Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel services/features and hours of operation; Other language, mathematical, and reasoning abilities as outlined below; Ability to comply with physical demands as outlined below; Knowledge and understanding of HRI & initiatives; Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations; If applicable, must meet any required minimum age to serve alcohol; Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule
