Position: Banquet Chef

About: White River Conference Center in Springfield, MO is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Banquet Sous Chef to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to plan, organize, and execute banquets at the conference center.

Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in a high-volume banquet kitchen and at least 2 years experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de partie; strong knowledge of food safety; ability to work flexible hours and days; knowledge of current culinary trends; ability to lead and mentor a team of culinary professionals; strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications; basic computer skills including hardware and software; ability to stand for extended periods of time; ability to bend, lift, and carry heavy objects; ability to lift 50 lbs
