Position: AOH Production Chef
About: Union Gospel Mission is a privately funded 501(c)3 non-profit, evangelical Christian ministry dedicated to sharing the Gospel and helping the homeless and impoverished. This position involves overseeing day-to-day culinary operations, managing kitchen staff, volunteers, and shelter residents, and working to transform lives through Christ-like behavior, stewardship, and loving relationships.
Requirements: Four years of production cooking experience, with demonstratable skills or applicable experience required; Two or four-year degree in related field, and/or culinary degree or recognized culinary certification or applicable experience required; Two years of demonstrated culinary leadership, or culinary management experience or applicable experience required; Experience working with people who are homeless or in recovery and/or personal experience with recovery preferred; Leadership experience within an active ministry preferred
