Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- possess a current valid driver’s license
- carry and use a firearm and maintain firearm proficiency
- be at least age 21 at the time of application and less than age 37 at conditional offer except exceptions apply
- obtain a Top Secret Clearance and retain it during career
- possess uncorrected visual acuity no worse than 20/100 binocular and corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye
- hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in 500, 1000 and 2000Hz ranges
- submit to drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing while employed
- complete 13 weeks intensive training at FLETC and 18 weeks specialized training at Rowley Training Center
- sign a mobility agreement for assignments in the U.S. and overseas
- certify Selective Service registration or exemption if applicable
Job Qualifications

- ability to carry and use a firearm with maintained proficiency
- age at least 21 at application and less than 37 at conditional offer, exceptions apply for federal law enforcement veterans and veterans preference
- ability to obtain and retain a Top Secret Clearance
- uncorrected visual acuity no worse than 20/100 binocular and corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye
- hearing loss not exceeding 25 decibels in specified frequency ranges
- successful completion of drug testing
- successful completion of 13 weeks training at FLETC and 18 weeks specialized training at Rowley Training Center
- willingness to accept assignments anywhere in the U.S. and abroad
- registration with the Selective Service System or exemption if applicable
Job Duties
- Provide protection for various protectees
- conduct criminal investigations pertaining to financial obligations of the United States
