Job Requirements
- minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant hotel event sales or event planning experience
- proficiency in computer applications
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication abilities
- ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- flexibility to work varying shifts
Job Qualifications
- refined verbal and written communication skills
- minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales or event planning experience preferred
- proficiency in general computer knowledge
- extremely detail oriented
- organized
- ability to handle a fast paced environment
- two years of hotel experience preferred
- completion of event management trainee program preferred
- true desire to satisfy needs of others in a fast paced environment
Job Duties
- serve as liaison between meeting planners and hotel staff
- administer sales agreements including food, beverage, and A/V details
- manage room blocks and pickup
- handle billing instructions and final event reviews
- act as on-site contact for event execution
- ensure smooth event operations
- troubleshoot event-related issues
