This position is an incredible opportunity to join Hyatt's Area Event Planning Team as an Events Administrative Assistant. The role supports a multi-property cluster collective, including Hyatt at Olive 8, Hyatt Regency Seattle, and Grand Hyatt Seattle, providing a unique chance to work at the heart of Hyatt's Event Planning operations. The Events Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Event Sales and Event Planning Managers by handling administrative duties essential for successful event execution. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.For those passionate about event planning and administration, this role offers hands-on experience with the coordination and management of various events across multiple locations. This individual will be responsible for managing communications among meeting planners, event teams, and operations staff, sometimes serving as a Meeting Concierge to ensure seamless event flow. With an hourly rate ranging from $28.60 to $30.19 and a higher established rate for long-term employees, this position not only pays well but also offers a comprehensive benefits package. Job Duties

  • Provide administrative support to Event Sales and Event Planning Managers
  • Assist as liaison between Meeting Planners, Events team, and Operations teams acting as Meeting Concierge
  • Manage communications related to event planning and execution
  • Learn and utilize new computer programs related to event management
  • Multitask and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Offer additional floor coverage when required
