The Life Enrichment Director is expected to go beyond simply organizing activities; they must create memorable experiences that bring purpose and joy to the daily lives of the senior residents.

Responsibilities include leading the monthly programming across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services, involving residents and families in program planning and participation when possible, and ensuring that life enrichment staff receive continuous education and professional development. The role also entails overseeing community decorations for special events, coordinating transportation with the team, driving community vehicles safely, and assisting with departmental budget development and expense monitoring.

This position demands creativity, empathy, humor, discretion, and excellent communication skills, as these traits are key to fostering connection and community amongst residents and staff. Candidates are expected to maintain professional certifications such as Personal Training Certification, CPR, and First Aid.
