Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a rapidly growing wedding planning company dedicated to delivering exceptional wedding experiences to couples across the United States. With a strong commitment to client satisfaction, Leigh & Co. Events has built a reputation for excellence and personalized service in the wedding planning industry. As a company that values flexibility and professional growth, they offer contract positions that allow planners to set their own schedules while working on exciting wedding projects nationwide.

The role of Lead Wedding Planner at Leigh & Co. Events is a unique opportunity for enthusiastic and organized individuals passionate about creating unforgettable wedding days. This contract position involves overseeing all aspects of wedding day coordination and execution, primarily serving onsite at wedding venues to ensure everything runs seamlessly. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training to equip them with the knowledge and tools needed to excel in the role. With competitive compensation of $350 for 10 to 12 hours of work per project, this role offers both flexibility and rewarding pay. The company is actively seeking new team members in anticipation of the 2026 wedding season and beyond.

As a Lead Wedding Planner, you will play a pivotal role in crafting flawless wedding days by working closely with Client Experience Managers during the planning phase and supervising Assistant Coordinators throughout the event. Your responsibilities will include managing final logistics calls with clients, leading rehearsal ceremonies, and acting as the primary advocate for couples on their wedding day. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor will be essential as you navigate day-of challenges and ensure a memorable, stress-free experience for clients and their guests.

This position demands a hands-on approach where you will oversee all vendor coordination, set-up, and event execution from start to finish. You will ensure that event design and logistics align perfectly with the couple's vision and the company’s high standards by controlling timelines, vendor communications, and minute event details such as escort cards, table numbers, and guest favors. Additionally, you will provide vital support to the wedding party and family members, helping to keep everyone informed, organized, and relaxed.

The contract nature of this role offers substantial scheduling freedom ideal for planners seeking work-life balance with the opportunity to work on meaningful wedding events nationwide. Leigh & Co. Events prides itself on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where professionals can develop their expertise, expand their portfolio, and contribute to a leading brand in the wedding planning industry.
