As part of the Hyatt global brand, these hotels focus on providing world-class service, state-of-the-art facilities, and exceptional dining and entertainment options that cater to both business and leisure travelers.

The Area Event Planning (Catering) Manager plays an essential role across these three renowned Hyatt properties, specializing in managing group events and catering functions that bring people together for memorable occasions. This position is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication between Meeting Planners and hotel departments, acting as the primary liaison to coordinate all details related to event execution. Responsibilities include managing sales agreements, detailing food, beverage, and audio/visual requirements, handling room blocks, overseeing pick-up schedules, and managing billing and final reviews. The role also involves being the on-site contact during events to guarantee a flawless guest experience.

The Area Event Planning (Catering) Manager must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to handle multiple events simultaneously with professionalism and grace. The role is salaried, with a range from $80,169 to $106,000 annually, where individual compensation is determined by several factors including experience, qualifications, and education. Additionally, this position is eligible for Hyatt's Sales Incentive Plan, providing performance-based rewards.

As a Hyatt colleague, you gain access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and career growth. Benefits include medical and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, retirement savings options, life and disability insurance, as well as family-friendly offerings like new child leave and adoption assistance. Time off benefits are generous, with vacation time increasing based on years of service, paid holidays, sick leave, and compassionate and jury duty leaves.

The benefits extend further with perks such as relocation assistance, employee assistance programs, discounted rooms at Hyatt locations worldwide, complimentary rooms after a qualifying period, free meals during shifts, tuition reimbursement, transit subsidies, and discounted parking.
