Job Description
Wolters Kluwer is a global leader in professional information, software solutions, and services committed to helping professionals make critical decisions every day. With a rich history of innovation and a dedication to excellence, Wolters Kluwer serves a broad range of markets including healthcare, tax and accounting, governance, risk and compliance, finance, and legal sectors. The company prides itself on fostering an environment of collaboration, continuous learning, and growth, making it an employer of choice for talented individuals seeking to impact global businesses and professionals. Wolters Kluwer is recognized for its commitment to diversity, inclusion, and professional development, supporting employees with comprehensive benefits and work-life balance initiatives.
The Event Coordination Specialist role at Wolters Kluwer is a vital position within the event management team focused on planning and executing both internal and external corporate events, including trade shows, client gatherings, and team-building activities. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for someone with a solid background in event planning to collaborate with senior Event and Attendee Managers while gaining insight into key business drivers and stakeholder engagement strategies. The specialist will support a variety of operational and logistical tasks such as vendor onboarding, contract processing, on-site registration, and event budget tracking. Known for its dynamic and fast-paced environment, this position requires excellent prioritization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
An integral part of the role involves leading the planning of smaller, Tier 3 events independently while contributing to larger initiatives alongside experienced team members. The Event Coordination Specialist must demonstrate flexibility, strong communication capabilities, and adeptness with event management platforms, particularly Cvent, to ensure flawless event delivery. The role includes regular travel, approximately 50% of the time, to support on-site activities and vendor coordination, making it ideal for candidates who are comfortable working in diverse settings and engaging directly with multiple stakeholders.
This position offers a competitive salary range of $57,400 to $98,350 USD and is eligible for bonus compensation, emphasizing the company’s commitment to rewarding performance and contribution. Wolters Kluwer also provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision plans, retirement savings options like 401(k), flexible spending accounts, commuter benefits, tuition assistance, paid vacation and sick leave, as well as paid parental leave. The company fosters an inclusive, equal opportunity work environment where all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
Candidates applying for this role should be prepared for a transparent recruitment process aligned with Wolters Kluwer’s commitment to authenticity and fairness. This includes participating in interviews without AI assistance or virtual backgrounds and potentially attending in-person interviews at a Wolters Kluwer office. This approach ensures evaluators can assess the candidate’s true capabilities and experiences. Overall, the Event Coordination Specialist role at Wolters Kluwer is an exciting opportunity for event professionals eager to advance their careers within a global company dedicated to innovation, operational excellence, and employee development.
