The available role is involved in the operational oversight and execution of North American community relations initiatives and business events, managing corporate, field, and business unit meetings across in-person and virtual platforms. This position is key to creating a consistent rhythm of recognition and appreciation throughout the company by leading event planning efforts such as leadership forums, top performer recognitions, and community service meetings. The specialist will be responsible for designing memorable, high-impact experiences that encourage a winning mindset and strengthen the emotional connection employees have to the brand and company mission. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience planning and executing large-scale events
- Proven ability in community partnership strategies

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, colleague engagement, marketing, communications, or related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- 3+ years planning and executing large-scale domestic, international, and virtual events such as leadership forums and top performer recognitions
- Proven track record in North American community partnership strategies including non-profit collaboration and volunteer mobilization
- Expertise in budget management, site selection, and contract negotiations in partnership with Legal and Procurement
- Proficient in meeting management software, event mobile apps, and travel platforms
- Experience managing social media and educational websites to drive engagement and brand consistency
- Demonstrated ability to align event goals with business objectives and organizational rhythms
- Skilled in designing event processes using data to measure success and optimize costs
- Strong initiative and creativity in fluid situations

Job Duties
- Manages the implementation of community efforts across North America and facilitates educational initiatives including event logistics and digital content maintenance
- Leads the full-scale delivery of key programs such as the Group Leadership Forum, Top Performer recognition, and field-based community service meetings
- Assists with site selection, conducts inspections, and manages contract negotiations ensuring compliance with company standards and fiscal requirements
- Collaborates with communication leads and business units to provide logistical leadership for virtual and in-person meetings ensuring all objectives are met
- Enhances attendee experience through meeting management software and training internal partners on planning protocols
- Establishes best-in-class workflows informed by data to improve meeting consistency and quality
- Centralizes planning processes to capture cost efficiencies and maximize the impact of event spend
- Safeguards the organization through diligent group contracting with Procurement and Legal
- Manages logistical rollout of culture and recognition toolkits integrating resources effectively
- Designs and executes high-impact experiences to celebrate achievements and reinforce a winning mindset
- Develops strategies to re-energize colleagues and strengthen emotional connections to the brand
