Job Description
FedEx Office, a subsidiary of Federal Express Corporation, is a leading provider of business services including printing, copying, digital solutions, and shipping. Known for its customer-first approach and extensive network of retail locations, FedEx Office supports businesses of all sizes by providing services that streamline operations and enhance communication needs for professional and personal events. Targeting businesses and consumers alike, FedEx Office maintains a strong presence in the hospitality and conventions sector with specialized roles focused on servicing events and meeting needs within hotels, convention centers, and other venues. The company prides itself on combining technology and customer service to expand its market reach and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
The Events Solutions Consultant (ESC) position within FedEx Office is a key role based in a Hospitality & Conventions (HC) store environment. Reporting to a Manager of Solutions Consultants, the ESC is responsible for in-store and off-site sales, focusing primarily on creating and maintaining strong relationships with hotel and convention center staff, particularly those in sales and event services. This role is customer-focused and aims not only to meet but exceed established sales targets by proactively engaging with clients throughout all event phases. This includes pre-event planning, on-demand support during the events, and post-event follow-ups.
The ESC interacts regularly with customers, venue contacts, print decision makers, vendors, and internal teams, facilitating seamless communication and service delivery. Duties include attending department meetings and site visits, making presentations on FedEx Office’s product and service offerings, and acting as the primary representative for FedEx Office in host properties. The ESC prepares and follows up on complex job orders, provides quotes and bids, monitors quality and timeliness of event orders, and drives revenue by identifying new sales opportunities.
A significant part of the role is the ability to work independently while fostering strong internal and external relationships. The ESC participates in regular strategy reviews with supervisors, maintains accurate customer relationship management (CRM) records, and adheres to FedEx Office’s standard operating procedures and corporate compliance policies. The position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational ability, and a consultative sales approach grounded in hospitality experience. Candidates with B2B sales background, client consultation expertise, and knowledge of Salesforce and Office 365 are preferred.
This role is offered as a full-time position located in Orlando, Florida, with a competitive hourly pay rate ranging from $21.14 to $29.59. FedEx Office provides a comprehensive benefits package and is an equal opportunity employer that offers reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals. The ESC position offers a dynamic work environment where dedication to client satisfaction and sales excellence is valued and rewarded, making it ideal for professionals passionate about hospitality sales and event solutions.
