Job Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Based in Miami, FL
- Schedule flexibility for contract, per-event work
- Experience in managing both large and smaller executive events
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Willingness to travel locally
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable engaging with large crowds
- Self-starter and quick thinker
- Detail-oriented and organized
Job Qualifications
- Experience managing complex, large-scale corporate and executive-level events
- Proven ability to execute high-quality events with continuous improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics
- Ability to build positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service
- Resourceful and solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organized and detail-oriented approach
Job Duties
- Join virtual planning meetings and coordinate with corporate partner, nonprofit partner, Visit.org event host and coordinators
- Take ownership and responsibility of in-person event setup, alignment with onsite teams, teardown and cleaning
- Represent Visit.org on-site as leader and problem solver
- Align roles and responsibilities with onsite team members
- Manage event guest check-in with a warm and friendly approach
- Resolve issues such as missing supplies, late staff, and technology challenges promptly
- Provide consistent updates, photos, and videos to the Events Team throughout the event
