Position: VP of Operations – Membership and Health & Wellness
About: The Granite YMCA is a collection of several independent YMCAs that have merged over the last 25 years. They have experienced significant growth in membership post-COVID and are now focusing on aligning their operations for continued expansion. The Vice President of Operations will oversee strategies, growth, best practices, and general operations for Membership and Health & Wellness, including multiple branches and key branch leadership.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business or recreation management preferred, or equivalent combination of degree and/or experience; Minimum of 7 years’ management experience, preferably with a YMCA or similar non-profit agency; Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related program management; Minimum of 5 years’ experience overseeing a combination of membership, sales, retention, health and wellness services; YMCA Multi-Team Leader certification or ability to obtain within two years; Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations; Possess strong organizational, interpersonal communication and relationship building skills; Strong technical aptitude including Microsoft Office Suite, general computer and tablet functions
