Position: SUPERVISOR KITCHEN
About: Supervises the activities of a designated administrative function to support operational goals and objectives. Schedules, assigns and monitors the work of staff. Monitors patient meal distribution schedule and supervises dishroom room and pot washing staff. Reports all equipment malfunction and initiates repair requests. Establishes and directs overall sanitation and cleaning schedules of the main kitchen, offices, salad room, cold and hot production areas. Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for assigned personnel. Maintains proper storage and refrigeration of foods in the tray assembly area. Conducts orientation and trains new employees.
Requirements: Minimum education: Associate’s degree is preferred. Three years of related experience in administration or Food Service. Knowledge required: Microsoft Excel, use of copy, scan and fax machine.
