Position: Supervisor, Food and Beverage -Fairbanks, AK, (WMF, On-Site)
About: Fairbanks, Alaska – Westmark Hotel and Conference Center is looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to supervise staff in all aspects of the day-to-day operations and service within the Food and Beverage operations. Holland America Line and Princess Cruises united as HAP-Alaska/Yukon Land Operations, innovators in Alaska and Yukon tourism, operating lodges, hotels, luxury motor coaches, and the largest domed rail cars in the world.
Requirements: This job normally requires a professional level of knowledge in food and beverage equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of some college or equivalent certification; Demonstration of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement; Must have or the ability to obtain an Alaska Food Handler’s card and a TAM or TIPS alcohol training card prior to the first day of work; The ability to push, pull, and carry tables, chairs, trays, plates, and chaffing dishes daily, 20 – 40 pounds; The ability to stand and walk for long periods, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and talk to customers; The ability to work a varied schedule and overtime work may be required; A commitment to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment is required; Must be legally able to work in the United States.
