Position: Student Union Barista
About: Student Life & Leadership is currently recruiting baristas to operate the only student-run coffee shop on campus, Seawolf Grounds, located in the Student Union. Baristas offer high-quality coffee products and customer service to students, staff, faculty, and the general public, and gain hands-on experience while working on campus. This student staff position is 10-15 hours/week and starts at $11.88/hour. Preference will be given to students with flexible hours and availability to meet scheduling needs: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; enrollment in the University of Alaska system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester or approval from the MAU Senior Student Services officer; at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA; ability to lift up to 50 pounds with accommodation
