Position: Sr. Vendor Manager, Kitchen, U.S. Hardlines
About: Amazon is looking for a driven, customer-focused, team-oriented, and analytical leader to join the Kitchen team. The Sr. Vendor Manager will be responsible for the total P&L of a category within Kitchen, setting the strategy for driving growth, creating and maintaining strong partnerships with vendors, adding selection, managing category profitability, optimizing pricing, and delivering a disruptive customer experience. The ideal candidate has a strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management. This position can be located in either Seattle or Arlington, VA.
Requirements: 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience; Bachelor’s degree; Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration; Experience using data to influence business decisions; Experience with business analysis and P&L management; Experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders; Buying/planning, operations, or finance background.
