About: The University Medical Center Foundation of El Paso (UMCF) and El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation (EPCHF) are seeking an Events Specialist to create, plan, coordinate, manage, and execute various events in support of their mission, fundraising, and community engagement initiatives. The Events Specialist will collaborate with foundation staff, hospitals, the Board of Directors, and others to create memorable experiences for donors, volunteers, and community members.
Requirements: Three years of experience in event planning and management, preferably within a nonprofit organization or similar organization; Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, communications, or a related field is required; Strong knowledge of event planning best practices, processes, and industry trends; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and event management software; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences and create compelling event experiences
