Position: Sous Chef*Full Time* *Sign On Bonus* *PTO*
About: The Columbia Presbyterian Community, a Life Plan Community, is looking for a skilled Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in meal preparation. This community values relationships, service, teamwork, stewardship, and excellence in daily operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Sous Chef in a retirement community, hotel, restaurant, or similar setting.
Requirements: Minimum Education, Experience, and Skills: Two years of cooking experience in a fine dining/hotel environment; experience in a culinary leadership role; High School diploma or GED; ServSafe Certified; Intermediate Computer Skills; Valid SC Driver’s License. Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: Three years of cooking experience in CCRC, Assisted Living, and/or Long Term Care industry; Knowledge of SC DHEC regulations; Associates Degree in Culinary Arts.
