Position: Sous Chef – Washington, DC
About: Tatte, a dynamic cafe, is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to assist in overseeing all kitchen operations and leading a team of up to 25 employees, including Zone Leaders, Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashwers. The ideal candidate must possess a passion for exceptional food made from scratch and genuine hospitality.
Requirements: Minimum of three years of culinary/kitchen management experience in a high-volume foodservice operation; comprehensive knowledge of food and culinary excellence; understanding of quality product, visual presentation, efficient production, safety & sanitation, and food cost controls; knowledge of Tatte’s systems and processes; excellent communication and organizational skills; high school education or equivalent
