Position: Sous Chef – Washington, DC

About: Tatte is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to assist in overseeing all kitchen operations at their café, ensuring the success and growth of the kitchen team. The Sous Chef will be responsible for supervising up to 25 employees, including Zone Leaders, Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers, fostering teamwork and excellence in food quality in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements: Minimum of three years of culinary/kitchen management experience in a high-volume foodservice operation; comprehensive knowledge of food and passion for culinary excellence; understanding of quality product, visual presentation, efficient production, safety & sanitation, and food cost controls; proficiency in Tatte’s systems and processes; excellent communication skills; organizational skills with attention to detail; high school education or equivalent
