Position: Sous Chef – Ruscello – Ala Moana Center
About: As a chef at Nordstrom, you will play a dual role – part kitchen genius, part artist. Responsibilities include completing a comprehensive Manager in Training program, leading the kitchen crew in scratch cooking, training and developing staff, and ensuring kitchen cleanliness. Ideal candidates should have 2+ years of upscale restaurant management experience, passion for quality food and customer service, strong communication skills, flexibility, and a food handler’s card where required.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of full-service, upscale restaurant management experience; passion for quality food and exceptional customer service; solid written and verbal communication skills, basic accounting skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule; possession of a food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations
