Position: Sous Chef job
About: DDC – Glendale, AZ is seeking a Sous Chef to join their Food & Beverage team. This position involves working under the direct supervision of various Restaurant Chefs and performing one-on-one training of line cooks. The Sous Chef must have extensive knowledge of Title 4 (Arizona liquor law) and adhere to all internal controls and alcohol training as per Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise (TOGE) standards.
Requirements: High School Degree or GED plus 2 years experience as a Sous Chef, or 5 years in a kitchen with 3 years of supervision experience; Must be at least 18 years of age; No felony, theft, or stealing convictions; Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation; Knowledge of food preparation methods and techniques, operation of food preparation equipment, and ability to obtain necessary certifications; Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
