Position: Sous Chef job
About: A Sous Chef position is available in a restaurant setting, where the Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in managing a cost-effective, clean, and safe kitchen while meeting food quality and service speed requirements. The Sous Chef will be responsible for all kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef, working an average of 55-60 hours per week. Leadership responsibilities include creating a cohesive team, maintaining a positive attitude, and improving the restaurant through quality management systems.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a kitchen environment preferred; ability to work an average of 55-60 hours per week; strong leadership skills; knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
