Position: Sous Chef job
About: HMSHost, located at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport, is looking for a Sous Chef to join their team. The Sous Chef will assist in overseeing a kitchen with difficult to complex operations, managing food and production processes, and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively in compliance with company standards.
Requirements: High school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma required; 3 to 5 years of experience in kitchen operations and staff supervision; certification in Serve Safe Management course; team management, delegation, and issue resolution skills; organization and multi-project management skills; ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
