Position: Sous Chef job

Episcope is now seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to lead operations at the newly renovated Hotel Granduca in Houston.
Requirements: Hands-on day-to-day kitchen leadership; experience overseeing operations at a multimillion-dollar, full-service restaurant; strong emotional intelligence and self-awareness; proven success in systemizing kitchen processes, including sanitation, training, and purchasing; selection, development, and retention of top kitchen talent; financial management skills including P&L, labor, and food; knowledge of food safety and sanitation; effective written and verbal communication to foster teamwork; attention to detail in sanitation, training, service, and food quality; excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills; development, planning, and execution of a BOH culinary/staff education and sanitation plan
