Position: Sous Chef job
About: The Sous Chef is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Foods Department, assisting the Kitchen Management team with opening, closing, and inventory tasks. The role requires maintaining high-quality standards, efficient food production, staff training, and adherence to sanitation practices to ensure safe food handling procedures and consistent product quality.
Requirements: BS degree in culinary science or related certificate preferred; 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef required; understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment necessary; excellent record of kitchen and staff management required; ability to handle emergency situations effectively; familiarity with industry best practices desired; working knowledge of MS Office or similar software programs needed.
