Position: SOUS CHEF I
About: Chartwells Higher Ed, operating at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, is seeking a SOUS CHEF I to join their culinary team. The position involves assisting the Executive Chef with daily operations, scheduling, ordering, inventory, training, and managing the back of house associates.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 5 years of culinary experience including 1 year at the management level; experience in various food service operations; knowledge of food trends, quality, production, and safety; supervisory and leadership skills; ServSafe or Department of Health Certification preferred; familiarity with MS Office products including Excel
