Position: Sous Chef – Garde Manger
About: The Venetian Resort is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef – Garde Manger to coordinate, plan, and supervise the production and presentation of menu items for Banquet events. The role involves ensuring compliance with departmental policies and maintaining high standards of food quality and service at all times.
Requirements: 21 years of age; Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States; High school diploma required; Must be able to obtain and maintain Health Card and any other required certification; 3 years of experience as a manager in a high-volume kitchen; Demonstrated experience in advanced knife skills and kitchen equipment; Working knowledge of food preparation practices and sanitation; Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays; Lift or carry 50 pounds unassisted; Maintain composure under pressure and meet deadlines consistently; Ability to interact effectively with guests, management, and team members of different backgrounds.
