About: Flik Independent School Dining, a leading provider of foodservice to private and independent schools across 300 communities for over four decades, is seeking a Sous Chef for their facility in Bronx, NY. The team is dedicated to delivering exceptional food experiences crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients while offering nutrition education programs to empower students.
Requirements: A.S. or equivalent experience; progressive culinary/kitchen management experience; catering experience a plus; high volume, complex foodservice operations experience; institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful; comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends; experience with computers and Microsoft Office; willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities; ServSafe certified
