Position: SOUS CHEF (EXEMPT)
About: Renaissance Baton Rouge is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join their team. The Sous Chef will report to the Executive Sous Chef/Executive Chef and will be responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness of meals prepared in the kitchen. Training staff, maintaining quality standards, and overseeing food specifications are key aspects of this role, along with controlling food and labor costs.
Requirements: Successful candidates must have at least 4 years of progressive experience or a culinary graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel or related field. Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department regulations, and liquor laws is required.
