Position: Sous Chef – Buyer
About: New Seasons Market is seeking a Sous Chef – Buyer to join their Prepared Foods department in Oregon/SW Washington. This position involves assisting with the coordination and execution of the production of Prepared Foods products, ordering, and inventory control to ensure exceptional customer service in a collaborative team environment.
Requirements: 2 + years of food production, kitchen or catering experience required; prior retail, customer service and/or food industry experience highly preferred; previous supervisory experience preferred; friendly and customer service oriented, with knowledge of culinary terminology and techniques and industry standard equipment; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; self-motivated with attention to detail and quality; ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment; basic math and computation skills required
