Position: Shogun Teppanyaki Chef
About: The Shogun Teppanyaki Chef is responsible for preparing and serving food on a Teppanyaki grill while providing a memorable dining experience for guests. This role requires exceptional cooking skills, creativity, and the ability to entertain and engage with guests. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for Japanese-style cooking.
Requirements: Experience in Japanese-style cooking is required; Ability to stand the entire shift and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs; Strong communication and people skills with the ability to entertain and interact with guests; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation; Must be able to legally work in the USA; High school diploma or equivalent required; One-year certificate from a college or technical school in culinary arts preferred; At least six months of related experience in a professional kitchen or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
