Position: Shearns Line Cook
About: Moody Gardens, located in Galveston, TX, is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food according to restaurant orders and Executive Chef’s recipes. The incumbent will ensure sanitation standards, assist in buffet preparations, and maintain optimal cooler temperatures.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 5 years prior experience in a similar position; must obtain TABC & Food Handlers Certification prior to starting work; reliable, responsible, and proficient in English communication; basic math skills and kitchen appliance operation knowledge; familiarity with sanitation standards; able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, stand for long periods, and handle extreme temperatures
