Position: Senior Vice President of Inclusion and Accessibility
About: The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Senior Vice President of Inclusion and Accessibility for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit Lauderdale). The Senior Vice President of Inclusion & Accessibility is responsible for maintaining and growing Visit Lauderdale’s global thought leadership and visionary status, focusing on developing greater awareness and increased visitation to Greater Fort Lauderdale as the LGBT+ capital of Florida.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hotel, restaurant, tourism, or related field; 6 years of experience in hotel/tourism marketing or closely related area; minimum of 5 years’ experience in the travel and tourism sector; strong marketing and communication skills; ability to work with internal departments, local, national, and international organizations; proficiency in public speaking; decision-making capabilities; budget management experience.
