Position: Sales Manager -Salaried Exempt
About: The Lakefront Anchorage hotel, formerly the Millennium Hotel, is seeking a Sales Manager to join their team. Situated on the shores of Lake Spenard in Anchorage, this hotel is conveniently located near the airport and downtown Anchorage, offering 248 rooms and three food and beverage outlets.
Requirements: Three years of hospitality, hotel, conference center, or tourism experience required; Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, English, Communication, or Marketing preferred; Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required; Delphi or Opera proficiency preferred; Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; Attention to detail and follow-through; Analytical skills and sense of ownership; Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities; Patience, tact, and diplomacy; Professionalism and respect in guest and associate interactions
