Position: Restaurant Chef – Marketplace Cafe – Downtown Seattle
About: As a chef on the Nordstrom Restaurant team, you will play a dual role – part kitchen genius, part artist. In this role, you will complete a comprehensive Manager in Training program, lead the kitchen crew in scratch cooking recipes, train and motivate kitchen staff, ensure kitchen cleanliness, and focus on process improvements and business goals.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years experience in full-service upscale restaurant management; passion and knowledge about quality food and exceptional customer service; solid written and verbal communication skills, basic accounting skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule; possession of a food handler’s card where required by local and state regulations
