Position: Resident Care Manager (RN)
About: This position is for a Resident Care Coordinator at a long-term care facility. The Resident Care Coordinator collaborates with the Director of Nursing to plan, organize, develop, and direct resident care services in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Requirements: Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must be able to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility. Must be able to speak, write, and understand English effectively. Must have a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably two years in a long-term care facility. Experience in supervision and principles of teaching. Skills in leadership, communication, critical thinking, creativity, integrity, and initiative are required. Must hold a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a licensed nurse in the state.
