Position: Program Specialist II (Employee Dining Manager)

About: The Utah Department of Corrections is seeking a motivated and experienced leader for the Employee Dining Manager (Program Specialist II) position at the Utah State Correctional Facility in Salt Lake City. This role involves fully operating the prison employee dining retail store and its advanced preparation kitchen, as well as supervising a work program employing offenders.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 5 years of experience managing subordinate personnel in a food service operation as either an executive/lead chef, event concessions director/manager, or retail store director/manager in the food service industry; experience adhering to OSHA workplace safety standards and health department food safety regulations, standards, and laws; extensive knowledge and experience in food service management; excellent verbal and written communication skills; leadership experience and ability; extensive experience with food service and computer/office equipment, including software proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and inventory management.
