Position: Pool Bar Sous Chef
About: Charleston Place, an upscale hotel, is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to support the culinary team and contribute to the development of the culinary concept for the hotel’s dining outlets. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, this role involves supervising menu creation, planning, and food production while ensuring operational excellence in the kitchen.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in a culinary leadership position in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, conference center, or resort; experience in a luxury and quality environment; ability to work in all kitchen stations; proficiency in English communication; willingness to work in challenging conditions with a ten-hour shift, five or six days a week; familiarity with food cost controls and basic mathematical calculations; adept at problem-solving under pressure; knowledge of fire and building codes
