Position: Pathology Assistant

The Pathology Department is dedicated to optimizing patient care through the efficient preparation and analysis of surgical specimens.
Requirements: Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree; Completion of NAACLS accredited Pathologist’s Assistant program required; Current Pathologist’s Assistant certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology; 3 or more years experience in a clinical pathology setting preferred; Knowledge of human anatomy, medical terminology, gross pathology, universal precautions, and laboratory safety; Fluent in the English language; Effective interpersonal and communication skills
