Position: Nicholas Markets – Sous Chef
About: ShopRite, a food retail company, is seeking a meticulous Sous Chef with culinary, seafood, and meat experience to join their team. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service, assisting the Food Service Manager/Head Chef, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company policies and regulations.
Requirements: Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English language; basic math skills; physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, lift up to 60 lbs, work in varying temperatures, and handle food products safely; good customer service and teamwork skills; familiarity with food service equipment operation and safety guidelines; adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards; must be 18 years or older for certain equipment operation
