Position: NHG General Manager, Navy Lodge
About: The Staten Island Navy Lodge in the United States, located in Staten Island, is seeking a candidate to manage one or more NEXCOM Hospitality Group (NHG) lodging facility, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and standards under the direct supervision of a NHG Regional Vice President. The role involves overseeing program management duties, coordinating facility maintenance, ensuring safety and security, managing budgets, and maintaining guest satisfaction in compliance with NHG standards.
Requirements: A total of 5 years of experience, consisting of the following: GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 3 years of administrative, technical, or responsible work; SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION OF EXPERIENCE: 1 year of academic study above high school level may substitute for 9 months of experience, up to a maximum of a 4-year bachelor’s degree for 3 years of general experience; SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 2 years of progressively responsible experience in hotel/motel or institutional management or related service industry operations, demonstrating knowledge in procurement, operational efficiency, internal finance controls, budgeting, staffing, and room design and decorating.
