Position: Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Cook
About: The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, a community outreach unit of the University of Minnesota’s College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences, located in the municipalities of Chaska, Chanhassen, and Victoria, is seeking a Cook for Rootstock, its new cafe. Rootstock offers quality, farm-fresh, plant-forward, and meat-supported dishes, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options.
Requirements: High school graduate or GED; Must have at least two (2) years of relevant experience or education in quantity food production; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; Must be able to accurately perform mathematics and recipe conversion calculations; Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English; Must be able to stand up for four (4) hours at a time; Possess safe knife handling skills
