About: Uniquely Colorado Crafted and located in the new Heart of Boulder, The Hiltons on Canyon (Embassy Suites & Hilton Garden Inn Boulder – Canyon Boulevard & 28th Street) is seeking an Executive Meeting Manager to join their team. This urban retreat offers attention to detail and inspired properties, providing a unique experience for guests and team members.
Requirements: Education/Formal Training: Knowledge of the hotel’s policies and procedures; ability to investigate and analyze data, negotiate, sell, and influence; drive to outside sales calls; excellent comprehension and literacy. Experience: Minimum of 2 years previous hotel sales experience in a full-service property. Knowledge/Skills: Ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence; manage extensive information; knowledge of hotel industry sales procedures; excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills; effective listener; team player with flexibility in schedule. Physical Demands: Sitting 85%, Walking 5%, Standing 5%, bending, kneeling, lifting, climbing 5%. Must have dexterity/mobility to tour property, climb stairs, and operate basic office equipment. Environment: Office environment with weather exposure during sales calls.
