Position: Manager III – Cafeteria
About: The job involves overseeing the operation of federal school meal programs, including breakfast, lunch, after-school snack/supper, and salad bars with strict adherence to district menus. It requires supervising personnel in cooking, preparing, and serving food as well as cleaning food service areas.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; four years’ experience in food service, including large quantity cooking; knowledge of food preparation and serving procedures; knowledge of safety and sanitation practices and procedures mandated by federal regulations; certification as a Food Services Manager by the Baltimore City Health Department within 90 days of employment; ability to follow written instructions; ability to perform mathematical computations; ability to maintain and prepare reports; proficient in the use of computer applications; ability to supervise and instruct employees in the requirements of their jobs
